Agrarforschung Schweiz publishes topical scientific articles of the project partners on a variety of Agricultural and Food Economics subjects. It is an open access publication of Agroscope, AGRIDEA the centre for agricultural advisory and extension services, the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL, the School of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences HAFL and the ZHAW.

As an independent knowledge hub, AGRIDEA has been proactive towards sustainable, down-to-earth solutions in the Swiss agricultural and food industry since 1958. School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences HAFL
The School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (BFH-HAFL) in Zollikofen brings together humans, nature and technology for sustainable development. As a specialised higher-education institution affiliated to Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), it produces and imparts knowledge for today’s and tomorrow’s world. Its BSc and MSc degree programmes in agricultural, forest and food sciences provide a future-oriented, practical education and prepare students optimally for the professional world. In collaboration with partners, BFH-HAFL develops holistic solutions for current problems and future challenges such as sustainable nutrition and resource use.
ZHAW Dept. Life Sciences and Facility Management
The ZHAW is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. Around 1900 students are currently enrolled at the School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, which has more than 600 employees. We offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, together with a wide range of continuing education courses. With its expertise, the school makes an important contribution to solving our societal challenges and increasing our quality of life in the areas of environment, food and health.
